BTI Launching Second Training Camp

BTI gets started with the preparation of second training program, included in projects of Business Start-up Incubators Support (BSIS) in Palestine, funded by EU, and carried out by Belgian Agency for Development.

Eng. Basel Qandeel, administrator of BSIS in Gaza, indicates that the project aims at developing abilities of incubator’s administrators and employees. Additionally, aiding pioneer ideas to be financed. As he continues, the project offers an online platform that connects entrepreneurs with the Business developer; meanwhile, paying attention to technological and logistical matters. BSIS helps advanced ideas get funding from multi-sources: various incubator’s projects& programs, competitions held in Palestine& Arab world, interest-free loans offered with many key facilities.  

 Six incubators have been benefited from the project, five of them from West Bank, and the latest working in Gaza Strip. For more clarification, Eng. Qandeel mentioned incubator’s steps in dealing with entrepreneurs, starting from selecting 35-40 advanced ideas, then implementing activities of the training program for pioneer ideas, finally preparing their own business plans.

Eng. Qndeel points out that a number of meaningful ideas will be selected to participate in the coming camp, and the incubation is working on paving the road to register the companies legally. Last year, The Incubator provided financial support during the first phase of the project for (14) pioneer ideas, funded by Islamic Relief. It is noteworthy that the Project enrolment deadline is in the coming fifth of October.
